End your trip at the biggest city- Shanghai, where you also learn the China of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Itinerary:
Day 1 ( )
Arrive / Beijing
Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement.
Once arrive at Beijing,be met & transferred to your hotel. Feel free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 (B, L, )
Beijing
Full day trip to the Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the Peking Opera Show in the evening.
- The Tian'anmen Square: The largest city square in the world.
- The Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.
- The Temple of Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.

Day 3 (B, L, D )
Beijing
Full day trip to the Great Wall,Ming Tomb and Sacred road. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.
- The Great Wall: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symbol of China.
- The Ding Tomb: The only underground tomb of the thirteen tombs of the emperors in the Ming Dynasty.
- The Sacred Road: The way guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors.

Day 4 (B, L, )
beijing/ Xi'an
Transfer via: PM flight
Visit the SummerPalace. Take afternoon flight to Xi'an. Arrive at Xian. Be met & transferred to your hotel.
- The SummerPalace: The largest and best-preserved royal garden in China with a history of over 800 years.

Day 5 (B, L, )
Xi'an
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, the BellTower and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show in the evening.
- The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses: The greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb.
- The BellTower: The emblem of Xian city.
- The Wild Goose Pagoda: The pagoda where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India.
- The Tang Dynasty show: The show that presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the capital.

Day 6 (B, L, )
Xi'an / Lanzhou
Transfer via: HU531 15:50-17:00
Visit the ProvincialMuseum, the AncientCity Wall and the Hanyang Tomb. Take afternoon flight to Lanzhou.
- The ProvincialMuseum: One of the main museums in China which holds numerous unearthed cultural relics of China.
- The AncientCity Wall: An extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure boasting the most complete city wall that survives through Chinese long history.
- The Hanyang Tomb: The Jing Emperor's tomb in Han Dynasty which was opened in 2001 and is famous for its rich collections of different kinds of tombs.

Day 7 (B, L, )
Lanzhou / Overnight train
Transfer via: Train658(22:00-7:00)
Visit the WhitePagodaHillPark, the ZhongshanBridge and the Museum. In the evening, be transferred to the railway station for your overnight train to Jiayuguan.
- The WhitePagodaHillPark: Located to the north of the city, on the far bank of the Yellow River, the WhitePagodaHillPark is a large, quiet area. From the hill one can have a bird's eye view of the Yellow River.
- The ZhongshanBridge: The iron bridge was built in the Qing Dynasty and renowned as the "first bridge on the Yellow River under the heaven".
- The Museum: It is the largest museum in GansuProvince one of whose collections is the fossils of the Yellow River Elephant.

Day 8 (B, L, )
Overnight train / Jiayuguan-Dunhuang
Transfer via: Bus
Once arrived at Jiayuguan, go to visit the JiayuguanPass and the Great Wall on the Cliff.
- The Jiayuguan Pass: It is the western end of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty as well as the most magnificent and best-preserved pass among the over thousand passes along the Ming Great Wall.
- The Great Wall on the Cliff: Built on the cliff which slants a 45-degree angle, the great wall seems to be hanged on the cliff.
In the afternoon, be transferred to the bus station for your bus to Dunhuang. Once arrived at Dunhuang, be met and be transferred to your hotel.
- Dunhuang is the most important trade hub between inland China and central Asia in Han and Tan Dynasties. It is in the westernmost part of GansuProvince.

Day 9 (B, L, )
Dunhuang
Transfer via: HU531 17:30-19:30
Visit the Yumen Guan Pass, the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty(about 2000 years ago), the Hecang Fortress and the Yang Guan Pass.
- The YumenGuanPass: Once as one of the west gates out of the country of the Han Dynasty (206 B. C. -220 A. D.), it is quite ruined by the shifting sands but still shows the ever splendor.
- The Great Wall of the Han Dynasty: Though made in clay and bulrushes, the wall still remains very well.
- The Hecang Fortress: Supplies like food and wine were transported here from nearby towns to be stored for the armies that guarded the Yumen Guan Pass.
- The YangGuanPass: Together with the Yumen Guan Gate, it is also one of the west gates out of the country of the Han Dynasty.

Day 10 (B, L, )
Dunhuang / Turpan
Transfer via: Over night train T192/193 22:46-6:50
Visit the MogaoCaves and the CrescentLake. In the evening, catch the over night train to Turpan.
- The MogaoCaves: Constructed over a millennium, from the 4th to the 14th centuries, the caves hold the world's richest treasure house of Buddhist sutras, murals and sculptures.
- The CrescentLake: The lake and the Sounding Sand Dune which can make sounds when the wind passes are located in the place where the sand and the oasis meet.

Day 11 (B, L, )
Turpan
Visit the GaochangAncientCity, the Astana Tombs, and the Flaming Mountain. Enjoy the cultural show of Uygur songs and dances.
- The GaochangAncientCity: The city's name means "the KingCity". It was laid in the first century B.C. and abandoned roughly in the 15th century.
- The Astana Tombs: In the cemetery buried ancient people of the Gaochang city. It is famous for its terra cotta figurines and tomb paintings.
- The FlamingMountain: Crustal movements and years of efflorescence fashion its unique geological feature. When the sun's rays beat down in mid-afternoon, the red rocks on the crisscross gullies and ravines reflect and the heat is intense as if the hillsides were engulfed by tongues of fire, hence the name.

Day 12 (B, L, )
Turpan / Urumqi
Transfer via: Coach(2.5 hours)
Visit the Karen Well, the Emi Minaret, and the GrapeValley. Drive to Urumqi
-The Karen Well: It is an irrigation system of wells connected by underground channels and is considered as one of the three great ancient projects in China.
- The Emi Minaret: It was built in 1777 to commemorate and praise ruler of Turpan, Emi Hoar who achieved brilliant military success in suppressing the armed rebellion.
- The GrapeValley: Grape Gorge, with its shady vineyards and fruit-laden trees, provides you with a welcome place of relaxation amidst hundreds of square miles of sand.

Day 13 (B, L, )
Urumqi
Visit the Southern Pasture and Kazakh Yurts. In the afternoon, visit the Eurasia Bazaar.
- The Southern Pasture: Located in the valley of Tian Mountain, the pasture is a very beautiful nice place for graze with mountains, valleys, fountains, waterfalls, cypress and pine trees.
- The Khazak Yurts: Of the three main types of yurt in use today, Khazak yurts, with a bent-wood roof and crown, are mainly used by Uygur people.
- The Erdaoqiao Bazaar: It is the largest Uygur bazaar in Urumqi. Here, you'll find a bustling market filled with fruit, clothing, crafts, knives, carpets and more.

Day 14 (B, L, )
Urumqi / Kashgar
Transfer via: PM flight
Visit the HeavenlyLake, Transfer from hotel to airport and fly to Kashgar.
- The HeavenlyLake: The lake is 1900 meters above the sea level. It is particularly refreshing for travelers arriving in Urumqi from the barren deserts in Xinjiang.
- Kashgar is a giant oasis and key city on the Silk Road.

Day 15 (B, L, )
Kashgar / Urumqi
Transfer via: PM flight
Visit the Idigar Mosque, the Abakh Khoja Tomb. Take evening flight back to Urumqi.

- The Idigar Mosque: The mosque was built in 1426. It is the largest mosque in Xinjiang and the centre of the Moslem activities, as well.
- The Abakh Khoja Tomb: The tomb served as the family tomb of Abakh Khoja, the powerful ruler of Kashgar in the 17th century who was revered as a prophet and second only to Mohammed.

Day 16 (B, L, )
Urumqi / Shanghai
Transfer via: AM flight
Arrive at Shanghai. Be met & have city tours to the Bund, Nanjing Road. Evening Shangcheng Acrobatic Show.
- The Bund: the former foreign settlement, ranged along with imposing buildings of the colonial period.
- Nanjing Road: the busiest shopping street in Shanghai.

Day 17 (B, L, )
Shanghai
VisitShanghaiMuseum, Yu Garden, Yuyuan Market, Children's Palace & Oriental Pear TV Tower.
- ShanghaiMuseum: The biggest museum in China, with a collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural relics. The museum is especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy.
- YuGarden: It is characteristic of the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty and it used to be a private garden with 400 years' history. In front of the garden, there is a market called Yu Market.
- Shanghai Children's Palace: The Shanghai Children's Palace provides after school education for gifted children. Children participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities such as music, dance, art, model making, science, technology and computer science. The palace hosts many art performances and science and technology contests which attracts thousands of youngsters.
- Oriental Pearl TV Tower: Standing by the HuangpuRiver with 468 meters high, Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the highest TV Tower in Asia.

Shanghai / Exit
Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement.
Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for the flight to next destination.
